Starlet's Slutty Boots

Everybody who's anybody knows that slouchy boots are hot right now.

That said...Starlet (that's me!), on a bit of a shopping binge a few weeks ago, decides that she must own a pair all her own.

She walks into Nordstrom.

With a credit card.

And what dost she behold, but the most gorgeous black, sleek, soft, slouchy, sexy, reasonably priced (ahem) boots that e'er her eye did see or her mind imaginate. (Yes, I did say "imaginate" on purpose).

It was love at first sight. THE perfect pair of boots.

So Starlet pulled out her credit card and used it like she does so well.

Starlet brings her sexy boots home and models them for her husband.

"I don't like it when you wear your jeans tucked in your boots like that," he says.

"That's the style now honey...it's cute," she says.

"Why don't you just wear them under your jeans like normal boots?"

"Cause you can't see the pretty buckle on the side or the slouch. It's a waste of a perfectly cute boot," she says.

He makes a face.

Starlet goes back to her closet.

She has no skirts the right length, so she pulls out a mini skirt which she hopes to offset with a blousier top.

"Sexy and sassy, or just plain slutty?" she asks her husband.

"Slutty." He says.

Hmmm.

She goes back to her closet.

She stares.

And stares.

Now her boots go with nothing.

"But I love them," she says to herself.

"But I have nothing to wear them with."

And then it dawns on her...

She reaches into the back of her closet and pulls out her very special "Naughty Cop" outfit (complete with handcuffs, thanks to Poka) .

Missing from naughty cop outfit: Hat and Boots.

Hat? No.

Boots? Yup.

Slutty?

You bet.
